Melissa’s Approach

Together, we'll explore the impact of your past, allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of your emotional responses and relational patterns

You’ve been carrying a lot for a long time—balancing responsibilities, showing up for everyone else, and squeezing in moments of self-care wherever you could, just to stay afloat. But lately, even those small pauses don’t seem to help in the same way.

You're seeking more than temporary relief—you want true clarity, meaningful healing, and lasting change. A shift that moves beyond coping, creating growth that feels sustainable and real.

Therapy is not about being fixed; it’s about being seen, heard, and supported.

My approach is focused on supporting the regulation and reorganization of your nervous system, a core component in how you experience emotion, connection, and a sense of safety within yourself.
Healing is not about forcing change or fixing what’s “wrong,” but about building awareness, fostering connection, and creating space to be present with what is.
My role is not to direct or push, but to help you understand your internal experiences, reconnect with your inherent strengths, and develop ways of moving through life that feel both sustainable and aligned with who you are.

In our work together, you’re welcome to show up exactly as you are—whether that’s uncertain, overwhelmed, curious, or quietly figuring things out. I show up as my full, human self too, because I believe real healing grows from genuine, honest connection. Our sessions will be a space to gently unpack the patterns and beliefs you’ve carried—especially the ones that once protected you, but may now be holding you back. We’ll not only talk through your experiences, but also tune into what your body remembers—emotions, sensations, and instincts that deserve space and care.

Healing, to me, isn’t about changing who you are—it’s about coming home to yourself.

In our work together, we’ll compassionately untangle old patterns and support a more authentic, connected way of living.
